Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Analyst to join their team in a fully remote role. You will provide deep insights into customer behavior, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness to drive growth across e-commerce operations.

You will develop dashboards, perform advanced analytics, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. A strong background in SQL, Python or R, and web analytics is required, with 5+ years in data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the e-commerce or retail sector.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences in a remote context.

Responsibilities

• Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify key trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to sales, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaign performance across various channels (paid search, social, email, etc.).
• Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing the e-commerce website, marketing strategies, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement analytical solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce analytics and data science.
