Qualifications

• Law degree or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs within financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of South African financial regulations (FICA, POPIA, banking laws).
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company’s compliance framework and policies.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits.
• Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, and data privacy regulations.
• Design and deliver training programs across the organization.
• Investigate breaches, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators and manage examinations.
