Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, Finance, Compliance or related field required.
• 7+ years in a senior compliance role within financial services or similar.
• Expert knowledge of South African financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee enterprise-wide compliance programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Apply FICA, POPIA, AML, KYC requirements to business practices.
• Advise senior management on compliance best practices and risks.
• Manage regulatory reporting and liaise with regulators.
• Lead investigations and recommend corrective actions.
