Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Officer for a fully remote role supporting Paarl-based entities. You will develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs within the financial services sector, conduct risk assessments and audits, and guide business units to uphold regulatory integrity.

The position requires a law/finance background with 6+ years in compliance or risk management, strong SA regulation knowledge, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years in compliance, legal, or risk management, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of South African financial regulations and international standards.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and communications skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and refine compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adapt internal practices.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and internal audits.
• Lead investigations into alleged violations and recommend actions.
• Provide compliance training and guidance to staff.
• Interface with regulators and external auditors as primary contact.
