Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aviation Safety Manager to lead and enhance their safety management systems in a remote capacity. You will oversee all aspects of aviation safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture across dispersed teams.

You will conduct audits, investigations, and data analyses, develop corrective actions, and present findings to senior management. The role demands 8+ years in aviation safety and strong SMS expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of aviation safety management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SMS principles and frameworks.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with ICAO, EASA, FAA regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., IATP, ISMA) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Aviation Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage reporting across departments.
• Collaborate with regulators to ensure compliance with aviation standards.
