Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to join our South Africa team. You will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking qualified meetings to fuel our pipeline.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in an SDR or similar role, strong written communication, and experience with outbound tools like LinkedIn, SalesNavigator and Salesforce. Remote work within SA is supported.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a Sales Development role or similar
• Ability to personalize outreach in written form
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Experience using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team
