Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers and craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone to book discovery calls.

You will manage your own pipeline, maintain clean Salesforce records, and continuously test messaging with the sales team. This is a full-time remote role based in South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
