Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and book discovery calls, while crafting personalized outreach to maintain a strong top-of-funnel pipeline.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, sharp communication skills, and familiarity with tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator. Remote work within South Africa is supported.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
