Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking the first meetings that set the pace for our sales team.

You will operate remotely within SA, build targeted contact lists, craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, and maintain clean Salesforce records to support Account Executives.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar in an agency or SaaS environment.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalise outreach.
• Experience building target lists and researching accounts.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and maintaining your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable, with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on the ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for the Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
