Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our remote team across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching ideal accounts, building contact lists, and crafting personalized outreach to secure qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, SaaS or agency preferred.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
