Job summary

You will own the top of the funnel by researching ideal accounts, sourcing contacts, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers to create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach over blasting lists, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
