Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for Sales Development Representatives to cover South Africa with a remote role. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

Responsibilities include building target lists, crafting personalized outreach via email/LinkedIn/phone, and booking discovery calls for Account Executives while keeping Salesforce and SalesLoft up to date.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role or SaaS/agency experience.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
