Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You’ll work with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, maintain accurate Salesforce records, and continuously refine messaging to hit volume goals while preserving quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
