Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our remote team across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking discovery calls with qualified prospects.

You will craft personalized outreach sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone, ensuring high-quality engagements and clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records to support Account Executives in pipeline growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team
