Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a hungry Sales Development Representative (SDR) to open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and book qualified discovery calls to fuel our Account Executives.

You'll craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records, and relentlessly test messaging to tighten feedback loops with the sales team. Remote SA role, full-time.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
