Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research accounts based on our ICP, identify key decision makers and craft targeted outreach via email, LinkedIn and calls to book discovery meetings for our Account Executives.

You will manage your own pipeline in Salesforce/SalesLoft, test messaging, and continuously refine targeting.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
