Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team and drive top-of-funnel activity across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book discovery calls for our account executives, shaping the early stages of our pipeline.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, strong writing skills, and familiarity with tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
