Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to join our remote-first team across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision-makers, and booking qualified discovery calls for our account executives.

Bring at least 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, and comfort using Salesforce to manage your pipeline.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or equivalent.
• Ability to personalize outreach and craft effective messaging.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts within the ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
