Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching target accounts, building contact lists and initiating thoughtful outreach with decision makers.

You will use tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to book discovery calls, maintain clean records, and continually test messaging for better targeting.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts across South Africa.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalised outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
