Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.

This remote role requires thoughtful outreach and high-quality communication. You’ll use LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to tailor messages, keep the pipeline clean, and continually improve targeting

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
