Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research, source, and book meetings with qualified decision makers, crafting thoughtful outreach rather than mass spamming.

You will use LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touchpoints. Remote role within South Africa, full-time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication; ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and sequences.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and feedback with the sales team.
