Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

This full-time remote position requires 2 years in SDR/BDR experience, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo. Salesforce proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback with the sales team.
