Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. The role focuses on researching targets, booking qualified meetings and making a strong first impression for potential clients.

As a fully remote position, you’ll work with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality outreach. Previous SDR or BDR experience in SaaS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with personalized outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
