Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Payroll Specialist to manage South African payroll from home. You will process bi-weekly or monthly payroll, maintain data, and answer employee inquiries while ensuring timely, accurate payments.

The role requires a National Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting or Payroll, at least 3 years of SA payroll experience, and solid knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL. VIP or Sage Payroll and Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Payroll.
• Minimum 3 years' direct SA payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and SA payroll laws.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly or monthly SA payroll accurately.
• Manage data for new hires, terminations and changes.
• Ensure compliance with BCEA, UIF, SDL, PAYE and SARS reports.
• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain payroll records and collaborate with HR/Finance.
