Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote HR Administrator and Payroll Specialist based in Soweto, Gauteng, but working from home. The role focuses on accurate HR data management and timely payroll processing for a distributed team.

You will handle HRIS administration, payroll data entry, and employee queries, while ensuring compliance with South African regulations and company policies. The position offers flexible hours and remote collaboration within SA.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate with numerical/administrative strength; HR/payroll qualification preferred.
• 2–4 years of HR admin and/or payroll experience.
• Solid knowledge of SA payroll regulations and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR information systems ensuring data accuracy.
• Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll including data entry and reconciliations.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding administration with complete documentation.
