Placements24 is assisting a fast-growing PropTech company to hire a Remote Real Estate Data Analyst in South Africa. You will collect, clean, interpret, and visualize large datasets to inform investment decisions and market strategy.

Requirements include 3+ years as a data analyst, strong SQL and Python or R skills, and experience with Tableau or Power BI. This remote role offers flexible work from anywhere in SA and opportunities to contribute to data-driven real estate insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in real estate or financial markets.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with real estate data sources and market dynamics is a plus.
• Understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, and clean real estate data from various sources.
• Perform in-depth analysis of market trends, property performance, and investment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
• Identify KPIs and track progress against business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights.
• Develop predictive models to forecast market behavior and property values.
• Automate data collection and reporting processes where possible.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly.
• Stay updated with latest trends in data analysis and real estate analytics.
