Placements24 client, a global SaaS leader, is seeking a proactive Remote Project Manager to guide successful SaaS implementations for an international client base. The role is remote-first, with Durban as an operational hub, and focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, develop detailed plans, coordinate with development teams, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business or related field.
• 5+ years in project management for SaaS or software implementations.
• Experience managing multiple remote projects concurrently.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; client-facing experience.
• Proficiency with Jira, Asana, Trello; Slack/Zoom/MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SaaS implementation projects for clients.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, internal development teams, and support staff.
• Conduct regular project status meetings using virtual collaboration tools.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
• Onboard new clients and guide them through the implementation process.
• Document project progress, key decisions, and lessons learned.
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices for remote teams.

You will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of our innovative SaaS products for a diverse international client base. Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
• Experience in client-facing roles and managing client expectations.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
