Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Program Director to lead national community impact initiatives across South Africa, including Soweto, Gauteng. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that align with our mission and address community needs.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of non-profit leadership, strong remote management skills, and a Master's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in non-profit management, program development, and leadership.
• Experience managing complex programs and large budgets.
• Ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with impact measurement and evaluation methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools.
• Master's degree preferred in related fields.
• Experience with Soweto, Gauteng context is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all community impact programs.
• Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aligned to organizational goals.
• Manage program budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of program managers and staff.
• Build relationships with community leaders, government agencies, partners, and donors.
• Identify emerging community needs and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Ensure programs are data-driven and evidence-based with measurable impact.
• Prepare progress, outcomes, and impact reports for board and funders.
• Represent the organization in forums and advocate for community interests.
• Stay updated on best practices in community development and non-profit management.
