Placements24 is seeking a Remote Social Impact Program Manager to lead national initiatives from anywhere in South Africa. You will design, implement, and oversee programs that deliver measurable social change for a globally recognized foundation.

The role requires 6+ years in nonprofit program management, strong M&E expertise, and excellence in remote collaboration with partners and diverse teams via virtual platforms, ensuring alignment with the mission and impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in International Development, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive program management experience in non-profit or social impact sectors.
• Proven ability to design and manage complex projects with measurable outcomes.
• Experience working in a remote, distributed team environment.
• Expertise in M&E methodologies and impact assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of social impact programs across focus areas.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure delivery.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track impact.
• Cultivate relationships with partners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders via virtual channels.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to identify opportunities.
• Prepare program reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and collaborative meetings with diverse teams.
• Stay updated on trends in social impact and sustainable development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, grant agreements, and ethical standards.
• Provide strategic guidance to project teams remotely.
