Placements24 is seeking a proactive and experienced Production Chemical Engineer for their remote operations team, supporting sites including those near East London. This role focuses on troubleshooting production issues, optimizing process parameters, implementing improvements, and sustaining operational excellence across multiple manufacturing units.

You will work with on-site teams remotely to drive productivity, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and contribute to the company's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in chemical production, process operations, or manufacturing support.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics in an industrial setting.
• Experience with process troubleshooting and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production performance, identifying optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and deviations with timely solutions.
• Implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce cycle times and waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support development and implementation of SOPs.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control and management to hit targets.
