Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Chemical Engineer focused on process optimization within the Oil & Gas sector. This fully remote role allows you to contribute expertise without geographical constraints while analyzing production processes and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, yield, and safety.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with at least 5 years' experience, and strong skills in process simulation, data interpretation, and statistical
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
- Strong proficiency with process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote role.
Responsibilities
- Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase production yield and reduce operational costs.
- Utilize process simulation software to model and test proposed changes before implementation.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of optimized processes, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure all process changes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
