Placements24 is seeking a strategic and results-driven Remote Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager. The role focuses on identifying and cultivating new opportunities in the pharma sector, forging partnerships, and driving revenue growth from a remote setup.

You will leverage your extensive network, lead negotiations, and develop business cases for senior management, while collaborating with R&D, legal, and finance teams to execute initiatives and expand the therapeutic portfolio globally.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive BD experience in pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record in identifying, negotiating and closing strategic partnerships and deals.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain, drug development, and market trends.
• Experience with financial modeling and valuation.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue BD opportunities including partnerships, licensing, and M&A.
• Conduct market analysis to assess new markets, therapeutic areas, and competition.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, investors, and industry leaders.
• Lead negotiations for complex deals and secure favorable terms.
• Develop and present business cases and strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with R&D, legal, and finance to execute BD initiatives.
