Placements24 seeks a Senior Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the North West region, including licensing, partnerships, and M&A. You will lead negotiations, shape strategic plans, and build senior-level relationships to drive revenue growth and market presence.

The role requires an MBA or PhD and 8+ years in pharma business development or strategy, with strong presentation and analytical skills.

Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field and minimum 8 years in business development or strategy within pharma/biotech.
Proven track record negotiating and closing significant deals in the pharmaceutical sector.
Deep knowledge of drug development, manufacturing, and commercialization.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities including licensing, partnerships, and M&A.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve growth objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with pharma companies, research institutions, and investors.
Lead negotiations for complex commercial agreements with favorable terms.
Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to spot trends.
Prepare and present business cases and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with R&D, commercial, and legal teams to execute initiatives.
Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events.
Manage a pipeline of potential deals and ensure follow-through.
