Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to drive outbound outreach across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, strong written communication, and familiarity with tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce. Remote work within South Africa is supported.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team
