Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers to drive pipeline. You will craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone and maintain clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in an SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS a plus), strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar.
• Excellent written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
