Job summary

Valenture Institute is seeking a Learning Designer to design, develop and quality assure secondary school online course content aligned to CAPS, NSC and SACAI standards. You will craft engaging learning activities, assessments and media with cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality digital learning experiences.

Candidates should have teaching qualifications and proven ability to design for online delivery, while working remotely within a South Africa-wide framework.

Qualifications

• A relevant teaching qualification with subject specialization.
• Experience with CAPS and NSC/SACAI standards is preferred.
• Experience in learning design or digital content development is advantageous.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design curriculum-aligned online course content and learning activities.
• Develop formative and summative assessments with marking guidelines.
• Quality assure content against curriculum and design standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Learning Technology and production teams.
• Manage development work to meet timelines and quality targets.
