Job summary

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification with subject specialization.
• Knowledge of CAPS curriculum and experience with the relevant subject/phase.
• Learning design or digital learning content development experience is advantageous.
• Experience in EdTech is advantageous.
• Knowledge of digital learning principles is advantageous.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and quality assure online course content aligned to NSC, CAPS and SACAI standards.
• Develop engaging, pedagogically sound online learning experiences using approved tools.
• Create formative and summative assessments with marking guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Learning Technology and production specialists.
• Manage development work to timelines and report progress to senior staff.
• Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities to improve courses.
