Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst for a global IT infrastructure leader. This fully remote role involves monitoring networks, responding to alerts, and resolving incidents from your home office with a strong emphasis on proactive problem solving.

You will work with Tier 2/3 teams across time zones, document investigations in detail, and participate in 24/7 shift coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar IT support role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and topologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor network performance, availability, and security using NOC tools and dashboards.
• Detect, diagnose, and troubleshoot network incidents and outages; escalate when needed.
• Respond to system alerts, perform initial analysis, and take appropriate action.
• Document all network events, incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in detail.
• Collaborate with Tier 2/3 support teams, field engineers, and client IT departments.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotations to provide continuous monitoring.
