Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Network Security Analyst to monitor and protect our clients' networks from home. You will analyze security alerts, conduct vulnerability assessments, and help refine security policies in a collaborative virtual environment.

Role requires a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity/CS/IT and a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Relevant certifications are highly desirable, with full remote work and flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network security analysis or similar.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security architectures and attack vectors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network security systems (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) for suspicious activity.
• Analyze alerts and logs to identify breaches and threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and pen testing to identify weaknesses.
• Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Respond to security incidents with timely resolution and post-incident analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity threats and technologies.
