Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in network security analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and threat vectors.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing methodologies.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network activity for security breaches and suspicious behavior using SIEM and other security tools.
• Investigate security alerts, analyze potential threats, and develop response strategies.
• Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate network weaknesses.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to enhance network defense capabilities.
