Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical product design
• Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and FEA tools
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects remotely
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Excellent communication and virtual collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of new consumer or industrial products from concept to production
• Utilize advanced CAD software for 3D modeling, drafting, and assembly design
• Conduct performance simulations and stress analysis (FEA) to validate designs
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and BOMs
• Collaborate effectively with remote R&D, marketing, and manufacturing teams
• Oversee prototype development and testing, iterating designs based on feedback and results
