Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Logistics Coordinator to join a remote-first team. You will coordinate shipments, track deliveries, negotiate with carriers, and optimize routes to cut costs while maintaining service quality.

This role requires at least four years in logistics coordination, familiarity with TMS and ERP systems, and the ability to work independently from a home office while communicating effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with transportation modes, shipping regulations, and international trade compliance.
• Experience using logistics software, including TMS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end logistics processes for shipments, planning, scheduling, and tracking.
• Negotiate rates with carriers, book shipments, and resolve transit issues.
• Monitor shipments in real time and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Optimize routes and modes for cost-efficiency and timely delivery.
• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze logistics data to identify improvements and cost reductions.
• Respond to inquiries from internal departments and external partners.
• Manage carrier performance and provide feedback to meet SLAs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
