Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Coordinator to optimize our global supply chain from a home office. You will coordinate shipments, liaise with carriers, and ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery across domestic and international routes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
• Understanding of shipping regulations, Incoterms, and international trade documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and standard office productivity tools.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with carriers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Dedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet is mandatory.
• Experience with freight auditing and cost analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to negotiate rates and track shipments.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively identify and resolve potential delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, including shipment details, costs, and delivery times.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and procurement, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage carrier performance and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding shipment status and logistics operations.
