Responsibilities

• Select carriers and negotiate rates to optimize cost and service.
• Communicate with clients with timely shipment updates and inquiries.
• Track shipments and address delays to minimize disruption.
• Liaise with customs brokers and other logistics providers.
• Maintain records of shipments and costs in the system.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in global logistics operations.
• Process invoices and ensure accurate billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end international freight movements (air, sea, land).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of international shipping procedures, documentation, and customs regulations.
• Experience with various modes of transport (air, sea, road).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience working remotely is highly advantageous.
