Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end process of freight shipments, including booking, tracking, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transit of goods.
• Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor shipment status, identify and resolve potential issues or delays proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of all freight activities in the company's logistics management system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed of shipment progress and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Manage carrier performance and identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry best practices.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize freight costs and transit times.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to provide accurate quoting and operational support.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in freight forwarding, ocean/air freight operations, or logistics coordination.
• Demonstrated understanding of shipping documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
• Proficiency in using freight management software and standard office productivity tools.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
