Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Warehouse Process Improvement Specialist to analyze and optimize warehouse workflows across facilities. The role requires strong lean, mapping, and data-analysis skills, with remote collaboration across teams and a proactive, autonomous work style.

You will drive process enhancements, develop training, and benchmark against best practices to elevate operational performance while maintaining SOPs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in process improvement, operations analysis, or industrial engineering within logistics/warehouse environments.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge; certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze warehouse processes, workflows, and layouts to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Map current state and design future state processes for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping.
• Collect and analyze operational data to measure performance and ROI.
• Develop business cases for proposed changes and present ROI analyses.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to implement approved changes.
• Create training materials and conduct training on new processes.
• Monitor effectiveness and ensure sustained improvements.
• Benchmark against industry best practices and recommend innovations.
• Maintain SOPs and process documentation.
