Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of lean principles across the organization. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to lead remote Kaizen events while coaching teams via virtual platforms.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of four years implementing lean methodologies, a strong track record in waste reduction, and expertise with 5S, VSM, Kanban, and Poka-Yoke.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proven track record of waste reduction and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of 5S, VSM, Kanban, and Poka-Yoke.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, adapted for remote environments.
• Proficiency in relevant software for project management and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen events remotely.
• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for waste reduction and efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize best practices.
• Train and coach employees at various levels on lean principles and tools via virtual platforms.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lean initiatives and report on progress.
• Support the development of visual management systems and performance tracking tools accessible remotely.
