Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist. The role focuses on analyzing client manufacturing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and delivering data-driven strategies to enhance productivity and quality across operations.

You will work remotely with diverse client teams, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to implement improvements and monitor results. Ideally you have 5+ years in manufacturing process optimization, strong data analysis skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process improvement, optimization, or industrial engineering consulting.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote analysis of client manufacturing processes, value streams, and operational data.
• Identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for improvement in production, material flow, and overall efficiency.
• Develop data-driven strategies and actionable plans for process optimization, including lean implementation and workflow redesign.
• Collaborate with on-site client teams to understand operational challenges and implement recommended solutions.
• Utilize statistical analysis and process modeling tools to evaluate performance and predict outcomes.
• Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to clients and internal management.
• Support the implementation of process changes, providing guidance and monitoring results.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing optimization and industrial engineering.
• Ensure recommendations align with client business objectives, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practice development within the optimization team.
