Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Warehouse Process Improvement Specialist to analyze and optimize global warehouse operations. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, map processes, develop KPIs, and drive safe, cost-efficient changes across multiple sites in a virtual environment.

Your work will influence productivity, safety, and cost management while collaborating with site managers and operational teams worldwide. A proactive problem-solver with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement with focus on warehouse or logistics operations.
• Lean manufacturing/operations and/or Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Strong ability to analyze complex processes, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing warehouse processes, workflows, and operational data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Develop and implement KPIs to measure effectiveness of process changes and ongoing performance.
• Create detailed process maps, SOPs, and training materials to support new or improved workflows.
• Collaborate with warehouse management and operational teams across locations to gain insights and ensure successful implementation of improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and develop sustainable solutions.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in warehouse operations.
• Prepare reports and presentations on process improvement projects for senior leadership.
• Facilitate remote workshops and training sessions on process improvement methodologies.
