Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Manufacturing Process Specialist to optimize processes across product lines from a home office. You will analyze, design, and implement improvements to boost quality, reduce waste, and increase throughput using data-driven insights.

This fully remote role requires strong Lean/Six Sigma expertise, 6+ years in manufacturing process development, and excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing process development and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate into actionable improvements.
• Experience with remote collaboration and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
• Design and develop new or improved manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Implement process changes with documentation, training, and validation.
• Use data analysis tools to monitor performance and identify trends.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams remotely.
• Develop SOPs and best practice guidelines for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct remote risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies in process optimization.
• Provide technical guidance to remote operational teams.
• Support adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
